Get Kitted Out!

Check out some of the products which have proved useful for volunteers on past projects.
LifeStraw Water Filter Bottle
It's a good idea to purify your drinking water while on project, and this bottle is a handy alternative to chlorine tablets. For each LifeStraw product you purchase, a school child in a developing community receives clean drinking water for one school year.
Mosquito Net
Keep your mosquito bites (and risk of contracting malaria) at a minimum with a net to protect you at night. This one is by Mountain Warehouse and it can be hung in different ways to suit the space and type of bed that you have.
Solid Wash Bar
Solid shampoo, conditioner and soap bars are a great way to keep waste to a minimum while you're living in the community. To transport them, just pop them into tins or tupperware. You'll be helping the environment, and they're usually also lighter and last longer than liquid products!
Hydration Tablets
Construction under the hot sun can be sweaty work! Keep yourself hydrated with some tablets or sachets - these ones dissolve in water.
